Enhancing Quality of Life with Home and Community-Based Support
The Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Settings Rule ensures that people who receive services and support through Medicaid’s HCBS programs have full access to the benefits of community living and are able to receive services in the most integrated setting. This includes controlling personal resources; being treated with privacy, dignity, respect, and freedom from coercion and restraint; deciding what and when to eat; having visitors; being able to lock doors; and having the protection of a lease or other legally enforceable agreement.
Community Living Supports (CLS) is a residential service available in TennCare CHOICES and Employment and Community First CHOICES (ECF CHOICES).
Presently, FVHCS receives member referrals from the Department of Disability and Aging (DDA) and the Managed Care Organizations (MCO), which are:
- BlueCare
- Wellpoint (formally Amerigroup)
- United Health
These prestigious entities provide the following services presently:
- CLS
- In-home Respite
- Personal Care Assistance
CLS-Family Model Program: if you have any family member or know anyone living with disability, you can be contracted to take care of them and be paid while doing so!
